USDM Swap: To ensure 100% plug-and-play compatibility with your vehicle's ECU and harness, you must transfer your original USDM intake manifold, wiring harness, and all sensors to the JDM long block.
-
Timing Component Swap: It is critical to swap your original USDM Crankshaft Sprocket and Driver-Side Camshaft Sprocket. The JDM trigger patterns for the cam and crank sensors often differ; failing to swap these sprockets will prevent the engine from starting or cause persistent timing codes.
-
Maintenance: Since the engine is out, we highly recommend installing a new Timing Belt Kit (belt, tensioner, idlers), Water Pump, and Rear Main Seal.
