-
Cam Trigger Warning: Verify the cam trigger wheels (reluctor plates) and cam phasers match your original engine. In some cases, swapping the USDM cam triggers is necessary to prevent "Cam Position Sensor" codes and starting issues.
-
Maintenance: We highly recommend installing a new Rear Main Seal and Front Crank Seal while the engine is out. It is also the ideal time to reseal the Cam Carriers and Timing Cover, as these are common leak points on the FB20 platform.
-
Service: Use high-quality 0W-20 Full Synthetic Oil as specified by Subaru for the FB series to maintain proper AVCS operation.
